Influencer rate calculator

"What should I charge?" is the question every creator asks before their first paid deal. This gives you a defensible starting range for one deliverable.

Don't know it? Use the engagement calculator.

Suggested rate for one deliverable

—

Based on $100 per 10K followers, adjusted for platform, format, engagement, usage rights and exclusivity. A starting point for negotiation, not a rule.

Brands with a budget skip kits without a rate. Put yours on a free media kit.

How to use the number

  • Quote the range, not a point. "My Reel rate is $200–$280 depending on usage" leaves room without looking unsure.
  • Negotiate scope, not price. If a brand can't meet it, offer a Story set instead of a discount on the Reel.
  • Put it on your kit. Brands with a budget skip creators who make them ask. Full benchmarks: how much do micro-influencers charge.

Frequently asked

How is the suggested rate calculated?

It starts from the widely used $100 per 10,000 followers baseline for one Instagram feed post, then adjusts for platform (TikTok higher), deliverable (video higher, Stories lower), engagement rate (above 6% up, below 3% down), usage rights (+50%) and exclusivity (+30%). The result is a range, because the right number also depends on the brand, the brief and how much you want the deal.

Is this what brands will actually pay?

It's what a reasonable brand will consider fair for a micro-influencer with healthy engagement. Small brands may push for the low end or gifted; brands buying content for ads should pay the top. If you're consistently getting yes with no pushback, raise it.

What if I have no past brand deals?

Quote the low end of your range and be great to work with — fast replies, on-time delivery, one extra Story. Your second deal with the same brand is where you move to the middle.

Should I charge for gifted collaborations?

For product you'd genuinely buy, gifted is fine early on. Once you have a few partnerships, ask for product plus a small fee for video, and keep gifted for products worth more than your rate.
