Privacy Policy

The short version

Kitvine is a place for creators to publish a media kit and for brands to find and work with them. We collect what you type into your profile, we show it to whoever you choose to show it to, and we don't sell it. You can make your kit private or delete your account at any time from your profile.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email address and a hashed password.
• Creator profile: social handle and platform, follower count, engagement rate, niche, location, bio, rates, content types, past brand partnerships, and self-reported audience information (age range, gender split, top countries).
• Brand profile: company name, website, industry and description.
• Activity on Kitvine: campaigns, applications, invites, messages between brands and creators, content links you add, and reviews.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and anonymous page-view analytics (which pages are visited, roughly where from, which device type). We don't use advertising trackers.

Where it comes from

Everything in your profile is entered by you. We do not scrape Instagram, TikTok or any other platform, and we do not buy data about you from third parties.

How we use it

• To publish your media kit at the link you share, if you've set it to public.
• To let brands search for creators by niche, location, followers and engagement, and to let creators browse campaigns.
• To run collaborations: applications, invites, messaging, contracts, content delivery and reviews.
• To email you about your account and activity — a welcome email, campaign invites, application decisions, new applicants. We don't send marketing newsletters unless you opt in.
• To understand how the site is used and keep it working.

Who can see what

• Your public media kit is visible to anyone with the link while it's set to public. Your email address is never shown on it.
• Creator profiles are visible to logged-in brands searching the platform.
• Messages are visible only to the brand and creator in that collaboration.
• Reviews a brand leaves about a creator appear on that creator's profile and media kit.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run Kitvine, and only what they need to do that:

• Vercel (hosting and anonymous analytics)
• Neon (database hosting, United States)
• Resend (sending email)

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices and rights

• Edit anything in your profile at any time.
• Make your kit private with one toggle on your profile page.
• Delete your account from your profile page. This permanently removes your account, profile, applications, invites, messages and reviews.
• Access or export your data, or ask a question, by emailing hello@kitvine.com.

If you are in the UK, EU, California or another place with data protection law, you may have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection). Email us and we'll honour them.

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, it's removed from our database immediately; backups clear within 30 days. Anonymous analytics are kept in aggregate.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep you logged in. Analytics are cookieless. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Age

Kitvine is for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email account holders before it takes effect.
